1. Who We Are

Renovation Nation (renovationnation.com, the "Site") is a home-services marketplace owned and operated by Leif Agency Ltd., doing business as Renovation Nation ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number 14318190) with its registered office at 24A Aldermans Hill, Palmers Green, London N13 4PN, United Kingdom.

We help homeowners describe their home-improvement projects and connect them with contractors and home-service providers who can quote and perform the work. Our service is free for homeowners.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you request quotes or contact us, we collect the information you enter into our forms, which may include:

• your first and last name;
• email address and phone number;
• property address and ZIP code;
• details about your project — the service category (for example roofing, HVAC, windows), property type, ownership status, timing, and the answers you give to project questions; and
• anything you include in messages to us.

We do not request or collect financial account information, Social Security numbers, or government identifiers.

Information collected automatically

• IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device information;
• how you use the Site — pages viewed, time on page, the advertising campaign or referring site that brought you here; and
• identifiers set by cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 7).

Consent documentation

When you submit a quote request, we document your consent — including the time of submission, the form you saw, and a consent token generated by a third-party verification service (such as Jornaya) — so that the providers who contact you can rely on it and you are protected against unauthorized contact claims.

3. How We Use Your Information

• to match your project with contractors and home-service providers and deliver your request to them;
• to contact you about your request and, where you have consented, about related offers;
• to verify your contact details (for example, confirming a phone number or email is real);
• to document consent, prevent fraud, and secure the Site;
• to measure and improve our advertising and the Site itself; and
• to comply with legal obligations.

4. Consent to Be Contacted

When you submit a quote request, you provide the consent described on that form to be contacted by us and by the matched providers — by phone call, text message, and email, including through automated technology — about your project. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You can revoke contact consent at any time: reply "STOP" to end texts, follow the unsubscribe link in emails, or ask any caller to place you on their do-not-call list. Message and data rates may apply to texts.

SMS is first-party only: mobile numbers collected for text messaging and your SMS opt-in consent are used by us on a first-party basis and are not sold or shared with third parties for their own text-marketing purposes.

5. How We Share Your Information

Fulfilling a quote request means passing your information to the businesses that can respond to it. Depending on your project and location, we share the information in Section 2 with:

• Contractors and home-service providers who match your project and location, so they can contact you with quotes;
• Partner networks and lead marketplaces that connect consumer requests with vetted service providers when we do not have a direct match — see our marketing partners;
• Service vendors working on our behalf under contract — hosting and security, contact verification, consent verification, email/SMS delivery, and analytics;
• Advertising and measurement partners (such as advertising platforms whose pixels appear on the Site) to measure and improve our marketing; and
• Authorities or advisers where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business sale or restructuring.

Some US privacy laws define passing your information to providers and partner networks as a "sale" or "share" of personal information. You can opt out at any time — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

6. What Happens After We Connect You

Once your request is delivered to a provider, that provider processes your information under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the policies of the businesses that contact you and to vet any contractor — licensing, insurance, references — before hiring.

7. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:

• Essential: operating the Site, remembering your progress through a quote form, and security;
• Analytics and measurement: understanding how visitors use the Site and which advertising brought them here, including campaign and affiliate tracking parameters; and
• Advertising: pixels from advertising platforms (for example Meta) that measure our campaigns and may be used to show you relevant ads.

You can limit cookies through your browser settings; parts of the Site (such as quote forms) may not function without essential cookies. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, use the mechanism in Section 9 — it applies regardless of your cookie settings.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We retain quote-request records, consent documentation, and related communications for as long as needed to provide the service, honor your choices, resolve disputes, and meet legal and contractual record-keeping obligations, after which we delete or de-identify them. Opt-out records are kept indefinitely so your choice keeps being honored.

9. Your US State Privacy Rights

If you live in California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and Oregon), you have rights that include:

• Know / Access — what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, purposes, and the categories of third parties we shared it with;
• Correct — inaccurate personal information;
• Delete — personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
• Opt out — of the sale or sharing of your personal information: Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information; and
• Non-discrimination — we will never penalize you for exercising your rights.

For California residents: in the last 12 months we collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2 (identifiers; customer records; internet activity; approximate geolocation; and inferences about your home-service needs) from you directly, from your devices, and from advertising partners; we disclosed identifiers and project details for the business purposes in Section 5; and we "sold" or "shared" identifiers and project details to the provider and partner categories in Section 5. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit.

To exercise any right, email privacy@renovationnation.com or use our contact form. We will verify your request using the information you provided to us and respond within 45 days (extendable to 90 with notice). You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof of authorization. California's "Shine the Light" law and Nevada's SB 220 requests can be made the same way.

10. Security

We protect personal information with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and bot mitigation. No transmission or storage method is completely secure; if a breach affects you and the law requires notice, we will provide it.

11. Children

The Site is intended for homeowners aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn we have collected a child's information, we will delete it.

12. International Processing

We are a UK-registered company serving the United States market; personal information is processed in the United States and other countries by us and our vendors, with appropriate safeguards where required.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last Updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted prominently on this page.
